Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has defended Mark Schwarzer over his recent form.

Schwarzer was at fault in last week's FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa but manager Pearson refused to point the finger at the veteran as he looked ahead to Sunday's trip to Everton.

Pearson said: "Players are human beings and going to make mistakes and when a goalkeeper makes mistakes it's difficult to shy away from that but we have a very supportive squad."
