Leicester are 'raring to go' for Spurs clash says Vardy

Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy has declared the Foxes are 'raring to go' for their clash with Spurs on Thursday night.

The Foxes pulled off what is arguably the greatest upset in sports, let alone football, when they won the Premier League title last season.

It would have been unfair to place similar expectations upon them, and Vardy believes that if Leicester can collect points from their last match and finish in the top-half of the table, their season would have been a success.

"To us, it's another game that we want to go out in front of the fans and try and get three points from," Vardy told the club's website.

"It's just the next game that we want to get points in to move us up the league slightly.

"Hopefully at the end of the season that's where we'll finish, around mid-table. Come the game, we'll be raring to go and we'll do everything to get those three points.

"We want to finish as high as we can, just to show that the start of the season wasn't how we wanted it to pan out. That's the way it goes, that's football, but we've turned it round and I think if we finish mid-table then all in all, it's been a good season."
