Leicester City has joined the race for want-away Stoke forward Jon Walters, it has emerged.

According to Sky Sports, the Foxes have approached Stoke for the Irishman, who handed in a transfer request to boss Mark Hughes yesterday.

Norwich and West Brom are also believed to be in the race to sign Walters, who has been at the Brittania Stadium since 2010
