Leicester already starting busy summer plans

Leicester City are set to undergo a busy summer transfer window and manager Claude Puel has already started making plans.

As the Foxes had record profits in their latest financial accounts, Puel will have cash to spend during the next transfer window.

"We work not just in the transfer window period but all the season together with the directors and the recruiters and the owners to prepare for next season, and to have all the response to replace some players, to bring good options and good additions in the squad," he said.

"It is important not just to work in the summer, it is work since October (when Puel arrived) for me and it is important to try to develop the squad and to try to develop the project with the training ground and stadium.

"I like this feeling. I like to build and we have all the possibility here to build with calm and consistency to give Leicester stability in results.

"But to have good stability in results we need to work together with the academy for example.

"Now we have a good relationship and a good understanding with the trainer of the academy and all this is important to give a good project for the club."
