Leicester accept £4m Middlesbrough bid for Nugent

Leicester City are set to sell David Nugent to Middlesbrough.

According to the Daily Mail, the Foxes have accepted a £4million offer from Boro with a deal set to materialise over the weekend.

Nugent, 30, has been given permission by Claudio Ranieri to speak with the Championship club and is expected to seal a move to the Riverside Stadium after spending the past four years with Leicester.

During his time at King Power Stadium, the former Bury, Preston North End, Portsmouth and Burnley forward has scored 59 goals in 180 appearances in all competitions for the East Midlands club.
