Legia Warsaw and Rangers play out stalemate

Legia Warsaw and Rangers were unable to produce any goals in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League play-off.

The Scottish side battled against the Polish outfit at the Polish Army Stadium.

But it was goalkeeper Allan McGregor who proved the most valuable player for the Gers.

He produced a string of saves to ensure their clean sheet was preserved.

It gives Rangers the ideal platform to finish off the tie at Ibrox.
