Leganes are pushing to sign Southampton striker Guido Carrillo.

After his six month loan last season, Leganes are eager to bring the Argentine back to the LaLiga next term.

AS says the two clubs have been speaking since the end of last season, though Saints' current €20m asking price is well out of Leganes' reach.

Instead, Lega are offering to take Carrillo on a 12-month loan and also to cover 100 per cent of his wages.

In their favour is the striker would be happy to return and play for coach Mauricio Pellegrino.
