Leganes have tabled a cash offer to Chelsea for Kenneth Omeruo.
The Nigeria defender spent last season on-loan with the LaLiga outfit and is eager to return permanently. Indeed, while tied to Chelsea until 2020, Omeruo wants an end to his loans this summer.
Foot Mercato says Leganes have offered €4.5m for the defender.
However, Chelsea immediately rejected the proposal, insisting it will take €6m to sell Omeruo.
Leganes will also face competition from France in the coming weeks, with an unnamed Ligue 1 club also making contact in recent days.
