Leganes coach Pellegrino targets Southampton striker Carrillo

Southampton striker Guido Carrillo is attracting LaLiga interest.

New Leganes coach Mauricio Pellegrino wants to be reunited with the Argentine striker, who was signed while he was still in charge of Saints.

Southampton paid a club record €22m in January to sign Carrillo from AS Monaco, but are already seeking to sell.

The forward will not be joining Saints for their preseason tour of China and talks are now underway with Leganes.

Pellegrino first worked with Carrillo at Estudiantes, before they were reunited at St Mary's last season.
