Leganes coach Javier Aguirre believes Gareth Bale can yet stay with Real Madrid.

Bale was jeered by home fans during victory over Real Sociedad - his first appearance since celebrating Wales' Euros qualification with a flag mocking his commitment to Madrid.

Mexican great Aguirre spoke on the set of El Chiringuito, saying: "I saw the flag thing and it is not an anecdote, it is not a small thing. It is something bad to celebrate for Wales by putting down your club.

"(But) I loved the serenity and tranquility of (Real coach) Zidane, he took away the matter."

He also said: "He (Bale) knows that Real Madrid is Real Madrid and that it is very difficult to get out the back door, he shouldn't do it. Soon after, he just needs to put in a little effort, then people will be grateful."
