Leganes want to extend the loan of Southampton striker Guido Carrillo into next season.
The Argentine impressed last season under former Saints manager Mauricio Pellegrino at Leganes and is wanted for the new campaign.
A permanent deal has been ruled out as Leganes have no hope of reaching the €20m fee Saints are seeking to sell. Instead, they hope to arrange a new loan.
However, they're not the only team in the running for Carrillo's signature.
Boca Juniors and Olympiacos are also in contact with Saints about the striker's situation.
