Leeds winger Harrison: Now time to start picking up points

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison insists they can start collecting points in the coming weeks.

Following a tricky run of fixtures, where they came up against the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds are set to face Aston Villa, Norwich City, Wolves, Southampton and Watford in their next five.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, he said: “To be honest, I haven't really given too much thought that we've had five defeats in a row. I think it's important to put that behind us and control what we can control going forward and keep this positivity, and strong mentality that we've built here as a group.

“It's important to keep moving forward and when we played Aston Villa last time, it was probably a fair result but we felt like we could've won the game as well. We had good feelings from that, and good feelings from the game against Leicester as well so we have a lot of positives to take into this game.

“We'll be pushing for three points 100%, we have to get as many points as we can at this point. Obviously we're still working on the defensive side - not to concede as many goals but at the same time we want to win and get as many points as we can as a group. We have some great opportunities in front of us in the next few games to achieve that."
