Nottingham Forest attacker Brennan Johnson is not ready to sign a new contract at present.
According to Football Insider, the Championship side are understandably eager to tie down the 20-year-old, who is a significant prospect.
However, their source also states that Johnson has told Forest he is not ready to commit his long-term future to the club.
He may want to see what else is out there in the summer, with the likes of West Ham United and Leeds United linked to his signature.
Crystal Palace are also monitoring the situation, while Brentford made several bids to try to secure Johnson in the January transfer window.
