Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci will soon hold talks with his current club Empoli over his playing future, his agent has revealed.
The 27-year-old joined the Serie A side from Leeds on loan with an option of a permanent deal in the summer due to personal reasons.
He is unlikely to return to Garry Monk's Leeds, and his agent Michelangelo Minieri has revealed that he will soon sort out his expected stay with Empoli.
"He is on loan with a right to buy in favour of Empoli," Minieri told Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
"We will soon talk about it with the club.
"We will discuss with Empoli to understand the ideas and what we will do together."
"Assessments will be made with the club.
"Empoli could buy him. There will be a meeting to understand their plans.
"We will decide the future with the club.
"In the meantime, it was important [for Bellusci] to return to Serie A and give a positive signal."
