Leeds turned down Tuanzebe ahead of Stoke move

Leeds United reportedly rejected the chance to sign Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe.

The centre back has been struggling with fitness issues for the past six months.

Tuanzebe, who is only 25, has been sent out on loan to Stoke City for the rest of this season.

Per The Athletic, Tuanzebe was offered to Leeds, but the Premier League club turned him down.

The defender is out of contract at United in the summer, which means his future is very much up in the air.

The Red Devils do have an option for a further year, but are unlikely to exercise it at present.
