Leeds United striker Ryan Edmondson is facing career crunch time.
Off contract in June, the youngster's loan with Aberdeen also comes to an end this month.
LeedsLive report the 19-year-old has been with Derek McInnes's squad since late July, but after only three starts in 25 Dons matches this term there is doubt around an extension.
Alongside the three league starts, Edmondson has 12 appearances from the bench and was used again by McInnes as recently as Saturday against Dundee United.
It is difficult to imagine the Whites allowing a prospect like Edmondson to move on for free, so a contract may well be put in front of him to retain his medium-term transfer value.
Nonetheless, as he approaches his 20th birthday in May, the England under-19 international knows he needs to make an impression at Aberdeen or elsewhere this season.
