Leeds United striker Joe Gelhardt has earned a first call to the England U21 squad.
Leeds-Live reports Gelhardt has been called up to the England Under 21s squad ahead of their European Championship qualifiers against Slovenia and Andorra.
The Leeds United forward was previously selected for the Under 20s camp, but has been moved up into Lee Carsley's squad for successive away matches.
PSV winger Noni Madueke and Levi Samuels Colwill of Huddersfield Town had to pull out due to injuries, which opened up the opportunity for Gelhardt and Stuttgart's Clinton Mola to replace them.
He is set to join Leeds teammate Charlie Cresswell at St George's Park with the Under 21s before they make the trip to Celje later this week.
