Leeds striker Bamford impressed by Summerville

Leeds striker Patrick Bamford has been impressed by summer arrival Crysencio Summerville.

Speaking on the Official Leeds United podcast, Bamford believes that Summerville's impact against Wolves was his best yet as he displayed some of the confidence he often shows in training and Under-23s matches.

He said: “I thought Cry did well as well, Summerville.

“Every time he's come on, a few days after the game we've been saying, 'Do what you do in training, get at your players, dribble at them, it doesn't matter if you lose the ball.' Which is nice to see. So, I think he was getting confidence from it as well."

Bamford also stated: "Ever since we've been working under Marcelo there's youngsters, 16-year-olds, there may have even been 15-year-olds, who've trained with us throughout the years.

“So, there's always a variety of youngsters coming in and out of training, dipping in and out when we need them, so you do get to have a good look at them, and you can tell straight away the ones that are going to be accepted by the group quickly and that kind of fit in."
