Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has revealed how he developed a rapport with Raphinha.
The Brazilian joined Leeds from French side Rennes at the end of the summer transfer window
"When he joined obviously he doesn't speak English great," the striker told the official Leeds United podcast.
"He can understand it and he can speak a very small amount. He's doing lessons at the minute. Because I can speak French a little bit, he was in France for a year so we kind of speak in French. He speaks to Rodrigo and Costa in Portuguese but I speak French to him. So we've kind of got that rapport straight away because I made that kind of effort.
"I had a little bit of a joke with him after the Newcastle game where he shot instead of squaring to me for a tap-in. Ever since then he's always looked for me. We're always talking on the pitch, telling each other where he wants it or where I want it, so we do get on well.
"We work together on defensive corners as well, so little things, we're always talking to each other, so whether he's going to attack the ball in front or I go n behind or I go in front. We seem to link up in everything at the minute."
