Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford is in awe of the quality of Chelsea.

The two teams battled it out in the Premier League in a close encounter, which the Blues eventually won 3-1.

Leeds took the lead in the game through Bamford and gave a good account of themselves.

Asked about Chelsea's quality, Bamford said the following on The Athletic's Ornstein and Chapman Podcast.

"We nit-pick everything really. Our physical stats weren't bad but Chelsea really outperformed what they've done the rest of the season, in terms of physically," Bamford commented.

"Then obviously we know about Chelsea how good they are.

"I think that's probably the best team we've played this year."
