Leeds United star Patrick Bamford hopes he can secure a spot in England's squad for the 2022 World Cup.
Bamford was excellent for Leeds in their first season back in the Premier League, netting 17 goals and managing seven assists.
But he did not make it into Gareth Southgate's Three Lions squad for Euro 2020.
As England prepare to take on Italy in the final on Sunday, Bamford admits he would love to be part of the group for the next major tournament.
"This was my big thing this year", Bamford said, per Leeds Live.
"If I push to achieve something and I haven't done it then I put more onus on myself to get there next time.
"Next time, hopefully for me, I want to try and get to the World Cup."
