​Leeds record first case of coronavirus

Leeds United have announced their first case of COVID-19 among the squad and staff.

The Daily Mail reports that at least one person from the club has tested positive for coronavirus.

The news comes amid the latest round of testing of EFL Championship teams.

There were a total of nine positive cases among six clubs in this round.

That is among 1094 players and staff members, while the tests took place between May 30th and June 2nd.

There will be further testing before the Championship's planned restart date of June 20th.
