Leeds United have taken the major step of offering their players a pay-rise amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
The Championship leaders were the first club to agree a wage deferral with their players, coaching staff and manager Marcelo Bielsa.
For their goodwill, the Daily Mail says Leeds will reward players with a two per cent bonus on the wages which they have deferred.
This will leave the players in a better position once the season resumes.
The Whites are set to lose £500,000 for every home match that does not take place.
