Journalist Sacha Tavolieri is reporting the Whites and Newcastle United are in the race with Chelsea seeking a permanent sale.

Reports indicated earlier in the window that Everton was Batshuayi's most likely destination, but Tavolieri says that is no longer the case as the Belgian does not suit Frank Lampard's style.
