Leeds moving for Liverpool attacker Takumi Minamino

Leeds United are moving for Liverpool attacker Takumi Minamino.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is desperate to add some creativity and attacking spark to his team this month and has been pursuing Red Bull Salzburg's Brenden Aaronson.

However, discussions over a deal for the USA international remain at an impasse, meaning that Leeds are now looking at alternatives.

Minamino, 27, is believed to be a serious target and the Whites are keen to sign him on a loan deal until the end of the campaign, says the Daily Mail.

The Japanese international has not started a Premier League game for Liverpool this season, but has scored twice in eight substitute appearances.
