Leeds moving for Girona star Cristhian Stuani

Newly-promoted Premier League outfit Leeds United are moving for Girona star Cristhian Stuani.

The Uruguay international, formerly of Middlesbrough, has spent the past season in the Segunda Division with Girona.

El Observador reports Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is a fan of Stuani and wants to bring him back to England for their new Premier League campaign.

Since joining Girona, Stuani has struck a stunning 70 goals in 103 games and is on the wanted lists of several LaLiga teams, including Villarreal.

Leeds are also keen, however Stuani is expected to remain with Girona should they be successful in their looming promotion playoffs.
