United States captain Tyler Adams claims he is more scared of spiders than England.
The two sides go head to head at the World Cup on Friday, with the USA needing a positive result after only drawing 1-1 in their opener against Wales.
England meanwhile are sitting in a better position after winning their opener 6-2 against Iran.
“England are a big team but an intimidation factor? I wouldn't say there's many things out there that intimidate me, other than spiders," said Leeds midfielder Adams in a press conference.
“So it's fine for me, but obviously I've got to play against all those big players, so I've done it before.
“But we also want to show what we're capable of and that US soccer is developing and growing in the right way."
