Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is hoping to secure the signing of Nicolas Gonzalez from Stuttgart.

The Argentina international is highly rated in Germany and managed 14 goals in 27 games in the second division.

And the Mirror has claimed Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is impressed with Gonzalez.

The player is only 22 and would add more fire power to a newly promoted Leeds side that wants to do well in the Premier League.

Gonzalez would cost roughly £20 million.

Borussia Dortmund and a host of Italian clubs, including AC Milan, Roma, Lazio and Napoli, all want Gonzalez as well.
