Leeds make Cresswell Millwall call

Leeds United are happy for Charlie Creswell to stay on-loan with Millwall.

Football Insider says Leeds will not be recalling young defender Cresswell in January. The centre-half, who is currently on loan with Millwall in the Championship, has bounced back well following a rough patch at the Den.

Despite scoring a number of goals for the club, Cresswell was left on the bench and then left out of the squad. However, the 20-year-old was then named in the Sky Bet Championship Team of The Month for November.

The Whites loanee kept two clean sheets out of a possible three, picking up five points available. There had been murmurings Leeds may recall the defender for additional cover at Elland Road, but the report claims Jesse Marsch will let the youngster see out his loan.
