Leeds United have jumped ahead of Newcastle for Birmingham City whiz George Hall.
Leeds are said to be 'closing in' on a deal for the teenager.
Hall has enjoyed a rapid rise to stardom after making his debut for the second-city club last season and can now claim to be a first-team regular for John Eustace's side. He has made 18 Championship appearances for Birmingham this campaign, even scoring in their 1-1 draw against Watford.
The England Under-19 international has been the subject of several links to top-flight sides, including Newcastle, within the last 12 months, says Chronicle Live. Though, it appears he is now Elland Road-bound with Jesse Marsch and co viewing Hall as a replacement for the outgoing Mateusz Klich.
