Leeds hoping to extend Gradel contract

Leeds United are hoping they can extend the contract of winger Max Gradel.

The Ivory Coast winger's current deal expires soon and Leeds boss Simon Grayson is pulling out all stops to hold onto the 21-year old.

Grayson is determined to keep the former Bournemouth man at Elland Road and is positive about his loan deal from Leicester City going on for longer.

"I think he'd like to stay here. We'll have to wait and see. Hopefully, if the two parties agree to it, that might be the case," Grayson said.

"We're giving him first-team opportunities to go and play some football and he had limited opportunities at Leicester."
