Leeds United's interest in Darko Gyabi has paved the way for Southampton to sign Romeo Lavia.
Manchester City youngster Lavia was linked with both Leeds and Southampton.
Now the Saints are close to signing the 18-year-old after interest from Leeds cooled, per The Athletic.
Leeds are instead close to signing another City youngster in Gyabi.
The former Millwall academy product is close to moving to Elland Road for around £5m.
