Leeds fears Clarke-Salter plans ruined by incoming Chelsea boss Lampard

Leeds United fear that incoming Chelsea boss Frank Lampard may refuse to loan them Jake Clarke-Salter due to the Spygate situation last season.

Derby and Lampard were furious after Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds were discovered to be spying on their training sessions ahead of a crucial game.

Per The Sun, Leeds want to bring the 21-year-old Clarke-Salter to their team and see him playing a key role next season.

The England under-21 captain is attracting interest from clubs around Europe after a successful loan at Vitesse Arnhem last season.

But Lampard going to Chelsea means that Leeds would have a slim chance of signing the player, given the poor relationship between the two parties.
