Leeds eyeing Freiburg defender Koch as White alternative

Leeds United are eyeing a move for Freiburg defender Robin Koch in the summer window.

The newly promoted Premier League side are desperate to sign Ben White from Brighton, who they had on loan last season during their promotion campaign.

But given interest in White from bigger clubs, Leeds may look at alternatives.

And The Sun says they are looking at Koch as a cheaper alternative.

The 24-year-old can also play defensive midfield, and would fit in the playing style of manager Marcelo Bielsa.

He played 34 games in all competitions for Freiburg in the past season.
