Leeds United are already searching for replacements for loanee Eddie Nketiah.
The Arsenal man has not started a game in the Championship this season.
The Gunners do have the option of recalling Nketiah if he does not appear in enough minutes before the start of the January transfer window.
The Mirrorsays Leeds want to keep Nketiah, who has scored five goals in 12 games.
They are hopeful he will get more games in the busy Christmas period, which should convince Arsenal to let him stay.
But they are scouting for alternatives in the loan market should Nketiah be recalled.
