Leeds United are confident of getting Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White.

The youngster has impressed at the Championship club as they came close to clinching promotion before the coronavirus crisis.

And Football Insider reports that White will stay with Leeds until the Championship season ends, even if it goes well into the summer.

It is unclear if Leeds will have the chance to get him for next season as well.

The club would love another loan deal, but given how well White has played, other Premier League clubs may be interested in him as well.

Brighton would prefer to have an auction to raise the selling price, or they may choose to integrate him into their own squad for next season.
