Leeds United are inching towards a new deal for winger Jack Harrison.
The 26-year-old was close to leaving the club in the January transfer window.
Both Nottingham Forest and Leicester City made offers for Harrison, with the Leicester move nearly happening.
Now he is firmly a Leeds player, with Football Insider claiming that his contract that expires in 2024 will be extended in the coming weeks.
Leeds are convinced that Harrison can be a part of their long term future.
However, the deal is also about protecting value, as they can sell Harrison for a higher fee should they get relegated or their next manager have other ideas for his squad.
