Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman is ending his loan with Leeds United.
Leeds have announced that Blackman, who has been spending the season on loan with the Yorkshire club, suffered a fractured tibia in his leg playing in an Under-23 game and is returning to Chelsea.
The 25-year-old has featured in two Carabao Cup games for Leeds.
Leeds director of football Victor Orta said, “Unfortunately due to the extent of the injury we will have to send Jamal back to Chelsea, which is really disappointing for the club.
“Not only is Jamal a really good goalkeeper, but he is also a good person too and he has been an exemplary professional since joining the club.
“He will be missed by everyone at Thorp Arch, we wish him well and everyone hopes to see him back playing again soon."
