Leeds chairman Radrizzani targeting Europe in next two or three years

Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani is hoping the club can push for European football in the next two or three years.

The Elland Road club are back in the top flight of English football for the second successive season, after a previous 16-year absence.

Despite an impressive ninth placed finish last term in the Premier League, Radrizzani knows that competing for European football will take a few more years of squad building.

"Our goal is to maintain (our place) in the league and, if we maintain the league, we can build on the foundation," Radrizzani told Sky Sports.

"We invested a lot in players last year and this season and I believe the club is going in the right direction to establish itself in the Premier League.

"The dream is to play in European nights in a bigger stadium in two or three - probably three - years."
