Leeds boss Jesse Marsch says they need to beat Brighton on Sunday.
Leeds have dropped into the bottom three during the week.
Marsch said: “Our focus is on winning the game. The situation is not easy but we need to be mentally and physically ready to seize important moments.
"Our approach is that we have to win the match, regardless of Burnley. They have a match [in hand] on Thursday too. Three points helps us and that's our focus."
On their 100 bookings this season, he also said: "I asked that internally with our coaching staff. Are we over-motivating?
"But even my last talk before Chelsea was calm. I've tried to have my finger on the pulse of what the team need."
Speaking about Leeds' disciplinary record (97 cautions and three red cards - a Premier League record), Marsch said, "We're aware that [red cards] killed us in the last two games, we can't have that again."
