Leeds boss Bielsa turns to Chelsea goalkeeper Blackman

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is chasing Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman.

Leeds are moving for Blackman to fill their vacant goalkeeper position.

The club are trying to formally agree a season-long loan deal for Blackman, says the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Blackman spent last season at Sheffield United making 31 league appearances and although he has attracted interest from abroad, it's understood he favours a return to the Championship.

Bielsa has identified that the squad needs strengthening in "four or five areas" and would be ready to install Blackman as the first-choice keeper, ahead of Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
