Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has given high praise for midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The Argentine compared Phillips to a countryman, current Atlético Madrid manager and former midfielder Diego Simeone.
Bielsa has played with and coached some of the best players in the world, but he has always been impressed by Phillips' quality for Leeds.
When talking with Stadio Astro, Bielsa compared the Englishman to the all-action style of Simeone.
He said: "In Newell's Old Boys, he plays in the same position as [Dario] Franco and [Tata] Martino, in the national team from Argentina he plays like Simeone and [Matias] Almeyda.
"From Chile he plays like [Gary] Medel, I have managed different players in this position with the same quality of Phillips, in this moment Phillips is at a big level in this position around the world."
