Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has admitted his admiration for Brighton defender Ben White.

After last season's successful loan, Leeds attempted to sign White outright last summer, but couldn't convince Brighton to sell.

Ahead of this weekend's reunion, Bielsa said: "All of us here admire him as a player. We respect him and love him as a human being. He was an excellent professional as well as a team-mate.

"I hope his career allows him to grow because he deserves it."

The Argentine added: "Ben White has shown he is a PL player."
