Leeds alerted as Liverpool step up interest in Udinese midfielder De Paul

Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their efforts to sign Rodrigo De Paul.

The Udinese midfielder is also wanted by Inter Milan, Juventus and Leeds United.

But the Reds are trying to get ahead of their rivals by making contact with Udinese, who have been feeling the financial pinch of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Tojofichajes, Jurgen Klopp views De Paul as a potential replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.

The Dutchman is reportedly preparing to snub a new contract offer from Liverpool to join Barcelona.

De Paul currently has a €35m price tag.
