Lee Dykes has been named new technical director of Brentford.

Dykes has been at Brentford since the summer of 2019, where he was hired to lead the club's recruitment.

Bees chief Phil Giles said, "Lee has done a fantastic job for us over the last three seasons.

"So I'm happy to be able to confirm him in a new and broader role at the club.

"He has a strong work ethic, is smart about football and is process driven, which are all qualities that he will continue to need as technical director."
