Former Newcastle United and Leeds United midfielder Lee Bowyer is in line to take charge of Charlton Athletic.
The Daily Mail says Charlton are set to offer Bowyer his first chance in management as caretaker when Karl Robinson departs.
The Addicks rejected Robinson's resignation on Wednesday but his departure is believed to be imminent.
Bowyer is the man to be placed in temporary charge, with club captain Johnnie Jackson expected to act as his No 2. Bowyer's appointment could come as soon as Thursday.
