Lecce midfielder Riccardo Saponara says Mario Balotelli was among the best he played with.

Saponara worked with the Brescia striker at AC Milan - as he did Kaka.

The midfielder was asked who was the best he played with and replied: “Considering the career he had, Kaka is the best teammate I ever played with.

"However, in that Milan squad, I also discovered Balotelli.

"I continue to insist he had what it takes to win the Ballon d'Or."
