Leandro Trossard is delighted with his move to Brighton.
The 24-year-old has agreed a four-year deal and arrives for a fee in the region of £15m from Genk.
Trossard said, “I spent a lot of time at my old club and of course experienced many things there from a young age, it was my childhood club and I was born there.
“I progressed as both a player and person, last year we had a great season where I was captain for a while so that helped things like my mentality too.
“I've learned a lot and now I'm happy that I can come to a bigger league to help Brighton succeed."
He added: “It's a new adventure, I've spoken with some people already and they told me that Brighton is a really nice city to live in.
“It's a nice club and one which I've followed over the last few months. It's an exciting adventure for me to play in the Premier League with Brighton."
