Premier League referee Howard Webb claims player behaviour has changed markedly since the Respect campaign was brought in but managers still need to learn not to criticise match officials. The Rotherham official views were echoed by England Under-21 coach Stuart Pearce.
Webb, with Pearce at the launch of the FA's Respect spectator barriers in Barnsley, said: "We accept that football is a passionate game and that emotions are a big part of what makes it the sport that it is.
"But apart from a bit of disappointment on the field, we have not really seen players surrounding or haranguing referees as a regular occurrence."
