Chelsea captain John Terry has hailed the influence of Nicolas Anelka this season.
For the win against Marseille, Terry was pleased for his team-mate following the barrage of abuse he received from the travelling fans following the controversy over France's World Cup debacle when the forward was sent home from South Africa.
Terry said: "He's been brilliant last year, he's such a great guy to have around the place, he was one of our best players last season and the season before, he is so calm and experienced, a really good personality despite what you hear about him.
"He gets on great with everyone and when he plays like that he's unstoppable."
